Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ has launched the highly-anticipated memoir ‘Unfinished’ on February 9th, 2021. Since the book was released, it has been receiving an overwhelming response from netizens.
In her memoir ‘Unfinished’, Priyanka mentions how working with Ilayathalapathy Vijay gave her a lesson in humility and generosity. As we all know, Priyanka’s first co-star was Vijay, with whom she acted in a Tamil movie. She also writes of how she was struck by the star’s humility and generosity towards his fans and taught her a life lesson.

At the age of 18, Priyanka clinched the title of Miss World in 2000. Then she went on to make her Tamil film debut in a film aptly titled Thamizhan with Thalapathy Vijay. Helmed by Majith and penned by Vijay’s father SA Chandrasekar, the film was a big hit in the year of 2002.
‘Unfinished’ also cites different details of the life of Priyanka, her challenges to excel, and all the individuals who inspired her journey. When the actress was at her shooting spot Quantico and a large group of fans had thronged to get a photo with her, the lesson from the sets of Thamizhan came to mind.
“As I stood and took pictures with them during my lunch break, I kept thinking of my very first co-actor ever and the precedent he’d set.”
Priyanka, also disclosed that she was supposed to shoot a sensuous dance during her early days when the director instructed her to strip off her clothes in front of the camera.
