Dr. Reynu Rajan would undoubtedly say yes to those who have asked if vaccination is necessary. As many might have known, Dr. Reynu is a health care professional who works as an Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon.
She works in a high risk environment where COVID-19 might have been exposed. Thus, getting vaccinated is not only for her own good but also for the safety of her family.
On that note, she has posted a video on her Instagram account about her journey where she got vaccinated on 1st March, 2021 at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC).
She was instructed to line up first before entering the hall to register herself at the registration counter. After which, the consent form was given to her for signature purposes.
The consent form is one that a patient signs before a medical procedure to confirm that he or she agrees to the procedure and understands any potential risks.
Then she was given a vaccination card with information about her doses on it and her next vaccination process. She was given a number later and had to wait patiently for her turn.
Dr Reynu said the staff was friendly and helpful, and she didn’t have to wait too long. It was finally time for her to get vaccinated when her turn came up.
In Dr. Reynu‘s post she also said;
We were monitored for 20 minutes after being injected to ensure there were no adverse reactions. I’m glad and grateful for that vaccination.
My second dose is also this month and I’m looking forward to it. I hope and pray as many Malaysians will come forward to be vaccinated in the coming months.
Dr. Reynu claims that the staff makes the process of getting patients vaccinated go smoothly, and she also encourages netizens to get vaccinated.
