Hola, movie buffs! Coming right up with some new updates on movies that you should watch on OTT platforms for the month of March.
It seems like the month has just begun, and we are already heading towards the last week of it. But that’s okay as we have come to give you some movie suggestions to slow down your weekend.
P.S. Keep reading because there’s a huge reveal at the end!
Aelay
Aelay, directed by Halitha Shameem, was released on Netflix on 5th March, and like many other films, it experienced some delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s about an enraged son who returns to his hometown to fulfil his father’s last rites and the events that cause him to reflect on his past. This film stars a diverse cast of actors, including Samuthirakani and Manikandan, and has its music composed by Kaber Vasuki and Aruldev.
Before making it to Netflix, Aelay was originally planned for a theatrical release on 12th February, 2021, but the filmmakers opted for a direct television premiere on 28 February, 2021, via Star Vijay.
Aelay is an experience that leaves you smiling, even though the road was a little bumpy at some point.

Care of Kaadhal
The movie’s tagline is something along the lines of “Love has no age,” implying that it represents the love that knows no bounds. It’s a tale of four love stories set in a small town of characters of various ages.
They’re all familiar stories, but what makes them stand out is how they come together in the end. Care of Kaadhal is just one of those movies that only satisfy you if you continue to wait until the end, and the way the stories come together makes for an emotional experience.
This film, which stars Diphan, Karthik Rathnam, Vetri, and Mumtaz Sorcar, is a remake of the Telugu film C/o Kancharapalem, which was released in 2018. It was then released on Netflix on 15th March.

We’ve made it to the end of the list, which means it’s time for the big reveal. This unquestionably needs a drum roll because this Netflix series that I’m about to mention captivated an extensive audience around the globe, stirring the internet with new trends like Bella Ciao, red zip-front coverall and the Dali Mask during the first lockdown.
Yeah, as some of you might have guessed, we’re talking about a “Money Heist”.
Money Heist is Netflix’s most-watched non-English film, with 65 million viewers. The show has a history of breaking its own records. The cast of Money Heist shot to stardom thanks to its massive success.
In particular, a documentary about the show was launched, which tracked the show’s trajectory and explanation on what made it so famous around the world!
But you’re still curious about what’s new with Money Heist in this context. While most of us were obsessed with the series during the pandemic, some of us were unable to understand the language and thus were not able to comprehend the reason behind the craze.
But guess what, Money Heist is now available in Tamil!
To turn to Tamil, simply choose it from the audio panel on Netflix after choosing the series. On a lighter note, this does not mean that the names of the characters will be changed to Indian cities!
