The first teaser of the highly anticipated Indian movie, Vada Chennai, starring Dhanush has dropped. This movie will mark the third collaboration between acclaimed actor Dhanush and acclaimed writer-director Vetri Maaran. The duo previously worked together on Polladhavan and also Aadukalam. The latter movie, in particular, showed the world what a brilliant actor Dhanush really is. Now, after seven years, the duo is collaborating once again.

In an interview with Firstpost, director Vetri Maaran previously mentioned that Vada Chennai will not be a gangster drama as fans initially speculated.
“It’s a film about society. The story chronicles the lives of people inhabiting a village for over 35 years. Since we have so much to narrate, we thought it could be made in two or three parts. We will take the final call about the next part after seeing the response for the first film.”
Vada Chennai is set to hit the big screens in September.
