The organization Miss Universe Malaysia (MUMO) is the nation’s first annual TV event and reality event. It was established 55 years ago in 1962 and revised in 2010, it was built to provide a voice that would represent young, talented Malaysian women on the international stage, Miss Universe.
Aspiring young Malaysian women interested in becoming the next Miss Universe Malaysia 2021 who fulfil Miss Universe Malaysia Organization’s (MUMO) requirements are invited to participate in the National Auditions as follows:
Date: Saturday, 10 April & Sunday, 11 April 2021
Time: 10AM – 5PM
Venue: MYEG Tower, Level 43A Auditorium, Empire City Damansara, Petaling Jaya,
Selangor (Waze: MYEG Tower).
Requirements:
- Contestants must be Non-Muslim Malaysian female citizen.
- Contestants must never been married or divorced or have had children.
- Contestants must be at least 18 and under 27 years of age before January 1st in 2021 in the year they wish to compete.
- Contestants must be at least 168cm height and above in order to participate.
- Contestants must be able to communicate in any of these languages; English / Bahasa Malaysia / Mandarin / Tamil.
- Contestants must be able to personify all the values and attribute of being a Miss Universe Malaysia. This includes; confidence, strong work ethics, commitment, professionalism, talent, grace and beauty.
Contestants must come well-groomed with makeup and high heels and carry the original and photocopy of their MyKad and three (3) recent photographs of their face, a mid-length shot and a full-length shot (photos need not to be taken professionally).
The title-holder of the Miss Universe Malaysia is expected to have a life-changing experience once she wears the crown.
She can carry the title everywhere she goes and automatically becomes a public figure like Miss Universe Malaysia. She will have a branding platform and champion a cause she feels very strongly about.
In addition, they will also have the chance to network with famous, influential people worldwide, to collaborate with leading players in the industry and be able to meet their personal and career goals excitingly.
More significantly, the winner will be able to fly abroad for a lifetime and represent Malaysia on the international Miss Universe stage.
