Another day, another gold for this brilliant inventor!
Yet, an amazing accomplishment came after Karthikgesan Santharasekaran from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Proton City clinched two gold medals at the Green Agricultural Innovation and Green Engineering categories of the Global Olympiad Green Innovation Fair (GO-GIFT 2021) competition!
His brilliant invention was based on Eco EnviroCompost, and a solar technology compost machine namely Enviro Solar Compost Machine. This ain’t his first victory as in year 2019 Karthik has become a star in his own right at the International Innovation & Invention in Canada.
The contest was officially officiated by the GLOBAL Environmental Invention & Innovation Association (GeiiA). A total number of 222 participants from 12 countries competed at this prestigious competition. However, due to the pandemic, the competition was held online.
Despite facing various educational challenges as a result of the global pandemic, the 14-year-old went above and beyond to create something that would benefit society as a whole.
