Just when Malaysians thought that things were on their way back to some sense of normalcy and improvement, the COVID-19 third wave came forth like a tsunami by showing up to be much more deadlier than the previous one.

As the number of positive COVID-19 cases in Malaysia continue to rise, MERCY Malaysia or Medical Relief Society Malaysia is seeking for medical volunteers to assist in the response to the current pandemic that’s currently hindering Malaysia from moving forward.

Due to the healthcare capacity which is at a breaking point, MERCY Malaysia has decided to lend a helping hand to the Ministry of Health (MOH) by providing volunteers to its various health and vaccination centres nationwide.

Among the tasks that could be assigned for a duration of at least two weeks or less to a volunteer are:

  • COVID-19 swabbing tests
  • Screening
  • Registration
  • Crowd control
  • Data entry
  • Vaccination

Those who wish to volunteer, you may apply via the application form here!

If you have any questions about volunteering or how the registration takes place, do visit MERCY Malaysia’s official website or contact Ain at 019-3140769.
