In a blink of an eye, this pandemic has upturned our “normal life” especially on all the things we are now lacking as a result of these circumstances. Aimed at slowing down the spread of the virus, Malaysia’s Full Movement Control Order (FMCO) commenced on 1st June.

In order to respond to the underprivileged with access to food supplies and other necessities, RAAGA introduces Makkalukku Makkal which is a community based initiative that puts donors and volunteers directly in contact with those in need of assistance or support during the (FMCO) period.

Good samaritans who are keen to register as a donor or volunteer on the platform, here are some simple steps you should take heed off:

  • Sign up on raaga.my
  • Fill in required personal details and a brief description on how you can help.
  • Upon verification, your details will be shared across RAAGA’s social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Volunteers and donors are critically involved to provide the necessities to those in need of suitable assistance or support during this difficult time.

Let’s help each other out in times of need! Be the light.

For more information on the community based programme, kindly visit RAAGA’s official website page here!
