Jaykishen’s Yennul Irunthaval: The Housemate Short Film Will Leave You Horror-struck

This horror flick really does the trick!

If you’re a fan of films like Conjuring and Lights Out, this short film may be in your wheelhouse!

A Jaykishen film aptly titled Yennul Irunthaval : The Housemate, seems like the best thing to watch and get all spooky at night. Penned by the director himself, the short film was produced by Gayathri Kanamma. Santhia Tanabalan who plays the lead role alongside Gayathri, makes our pulse-shred throughout the 9 minutes 50 seconds short film.

This short film gets straight to the point in building fear and terror. A young girl hears strange sounds coming from her housemate’s room. Honestly, there’s nothing quite like creaky and creepy sounds to trip you up, especially if you’re alone at home and they’re coming from another room.

Based on a statement by the Malaysian National Film Development Corporation (Finas), the entire production team adhered to the SOP’s very well.

With the sound effects that quickly races your heartbeat while making you jump off your sofa, this short horror really does the trick on 9to5 Film YouTube channel.

“Let’s welcome Kanmani to her new home”

For extra spooks, turn off your lights and watch it alone. I dare you.
