A treat for die-hard Thalapathy fans!
In conjunction with Vijay’s 47th birthday, the makers have unveiled the title and first look of Thalapathy’s sixty fifth film aptly titled Beast. Penned and helmed by Nelson, it marks the maiden collaboration of the actor and filmmaker.
Touted to be an action drama, the poster depicts Vijay’s character gripping a shotgun with a telescopic sight placed on the barrel. However, the poster does not specify whether the actor portrays a cop on a mission or a professional hitman.
On the music front, Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring of its music while Vijay will be seen alongside Pooja Hegde as the leading actress. As per the director, the project went on floor earlier this year, and the team has even wrapped the first schedule in Georgia.
However, currently the entire crew were unable to continue filming in Tamil Nadu due to the second wave of the COVID-19 outbreak. It remains to be seen if Beast will be released in theatres as per scheduled for the Pongal festival.
