Lunch On Us Malaysia has commenced to do their part for society, now that many have come forward to lend a helping hand primarily to those that have raised their white flags. However, the funds collected does not only assist those in need, but it also prioritises animal shelters, which should be given equal attention.
Monisha, the founder of Lunch On Us Malaysia, stated that the fundraiser is also focusing on furbabies, raising funds for animal shelters.
I guess we were so committed to helping ourselves that we forgot about the innocent pets who are being left to starve and punished for no reason during this pandemic. It is also our responsibility to care for them, and it is fantastic that Lunch On Us Malaysia has begun this noble effort.
So, in addition to donating to animal shelters, all funds raised through this initiative will be used to provide a “Kindness Kit” to people in need. According to their Instagram post, the “Kindness Kit” will include rice, mee hoon, eggs, salt, sugar, cooking oil, vegetables, toiletries, diapers, and infant formula depending on the families’ needs.
They mentioned in their caption that;
We would be grateful for every ringgit raised. You can make a BIG DIFFERENCE in their lives. You can contribute any amount to be a part of this noble cause.
