An online business account named @bakedbykg_ has come up with this virtuous initiative to help the many vulnerable people who are raising white flags in the hopes of receiving help.
Baked By KG’s founder, Kavita Gill, is a 32-year-old corporate employee who also runs an online bakery where she sells breads, brownies, and other treats. But the highlight of her online business is that RM 50 of her earnings are going to the white flag campaign.
Every RM50 profit from the treat box will be donated to the white flag movement for food baskets, according to her Instagram account.
In her treat box, 4 pieces of her Chewy Fudgy Brownies, 4 pieces of Choc Chip Pecan Blondies, 2 slices of Lemon Load, and 2 slices of healthy Banana Bread are included.
Kavita ensures that all of the ingredients in her treats are of the highest quality, and she hopes to add more healthy options in the near future so that there is something for everyone.
According to FMT, Kavita says that understanding each organization’s mission and how it operates was essential in her decision-making process. For the time being, she has chosen the Rotary Club of Mont Kiara’s #NeverGoHungry campaign and Yayasan Chow Kit, a children’s and teenagers NGO.
It’s such a brilliant idea because you get to eat her delectable bakery meal while also supporting the white flag raisers. So what are you waiting for? Go to her page and order a treat box to enjoy while also helping the less fortunate.
