Through his rap career, our Malaysian homeboy has continued to be a blessing and pride to the country. We know that his work, such as “Start the Thiruvizha,” spread like wildfire and is a fan favourite. The deadly pandemic hasn’t deterred this man from building his brand, “Macha Magic Worldwide”.

Balan Kash and The Cap City Malaysia collaborated on a project with their limited edition MACHA snapback release. It is available in two different styles. The classic black Macha with a red dot and the red 5 panel spelling out MACHA lettering.

This is the first time an established Malaysian streetwear brand has collaborated with an Indian artist to release a fashion item, and it is expected that more brands will collaborate with homegrown Indian artists in the future.

Nigel Sparks of The Cap City feels localising fashion releases will uplift the ecosystem as told by Balan Kash who shares the same sentiment.

Balan Kash, the owner of Macha Magic Worldwide said;

“This might be the first but surely won’t be the last because if this limited release gets sold out, it shows buying power of streetwear & shows potential for more brands & artistes to come together,”

The limited edition comes with a snapback, an enamel pin and a display box.

The rapper also said,

“Trust me, this will be the beginning as we predict more brands will reach out to the brown boys because the vision, ecosystem and support is there.”
