Let’s Unearth Our Hidden Talent In Theenthamizh Thiral 1.0 Competition!

Every student and young teen is endowed with talent, and there is at least one skill that they can shine at, depending on the environment in which they are nurtured in.

To those who are figuring out on avenues to display their talents amid the pandemic, read on.

The Tamil Language Society Of University Malaysia Kelantan (TLS UMK ) will be spearheading a virtual competition aptly titled Theenthamizh Thiral 1.0 to all IPTA and IPTS students. The program contains Tamil short stories and poems which will be conducted virtually in the month of August 2021.

The current deadline for the registration will be on 25th August 2021 (11.59 PM) and Malaysian Tamil students who are committed to preserve our mother tongue are encouraged to take part in the competition. This could be a fantastic opportunity for young teens to be part of a nationwide event and stand a chance to win a share of RM 400 worth of prizes. 

The much anticipated competition is organised to inspire students to improve and enrich their mother tongue in the form of poetry. Participants are required to send their piece of work from the 1st till 15th September 2021. Embark on a “tell-a-tale” journey which will certainly ignite one’s innate curiosity and imagination!
