Despite the dark cloud spurred on by the Covid-19 outbreak, Malaysians from all walks of life have consistently made the country proud with their persistent achievements.
Shavinash Karthikesan and Thivyan Karthikesan, pupils of SMK Seri Mahkota in Kuantan, Pahang have emerged into the Cholan Book Of World Records. Their father Karthikesan Kamaresu proudly took to his Facebook to celebrate his sons achievements.

Trained by professional silambam masters; Mooralitharan and Suresh Bala krishnan, the most anticipated event was held virtually on 11th July 2021. The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) primary goal is to foster and inspire youngsters with promising potential who are documenting human and natural world records.
For the first time in history, a total of 1200 participants from 25 countries have set a world record by performing various kinds of traditional Tamil martial arts, such as ‘Varmakkalari Adimurai’ and ‘Silambam’ for 12 hours and 30 minutes non-stop through the online platform. The certificate is awarded to the world organisation ‘Lemuria varmakkalari adimurai’ for developing world-class achievers and enrolling them in the Cholan Book Of World Records, for their exceptional training and integration of students from all over the world through digital platforms.
