At the age where most of us were playing with toys and having play mate time, child geniuses and prodigies around the globe are learning complex languages and studying in fields we’ve never heard of. And many of these kids went on to achieve tremendous achievement.

Vishan, a 4-year-old intelligent kid, were among them. On July 26th, 2021, Vishan Rajasekaran had his name inscribed in the Malaysia Book of Records after he successfully identified 147 country flags in 15 minutes.

Hailing from Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, the little kiddo’s love for all things colourful began when he was two years old. The only child of Dr. G. Rajasekaran and housewife Angila Raju, Vishan is fascinated by global flags and has memorised them since he was a toddler. Despite his inquisitiveness about the colours of the food on his plate, he developed curiosity about one’s clothing colour too.

Dr Rajasekaran told MStar upon discovering his son’s interest in colours, he purchased a set of ten flags, and in a span of just a few days, he was able to identify the flags of each country merely by glancing at their colours.

That’s when Dr Rajasekaran approached the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) to test his beloved son’s abilities. It was indeed a great achievement by the little kiddo as he broke the record by identifying 147 flags at random in only 15 minutes during a virtual session in July. The prestigious session was witnessed by his proud parents and MBOR officials.

Despite being young, Vishan is fascinated in the solar system and has memorised the names of the planets. Recently, Dr Rajasekaran even purchased a colouring book on the solar system, and notwithstanding his inability to read and write, he can already identify the names of the planets.
