Senior Citizen, Krisman Charged With Murder of His Own Son At Kuala Kubu Bharu Magistrate’s Court

Father and son were allegedly fighting over a remote control when the crime took place.

An elderly man S. Krisman, 72, reportedly slashed his own son’s neck after arguing over a television broadcast in Ulu Bernam. He was charged with murder at the Kuala Kubu Bharu Magistrate’s court here.

The accused nodded when asked if he understood the charges that were read to him. However, no plea was recorded from the accused as the case was under the purview of the Magistrate’s court.

Apacnaidu, 37, was murdered between 11am and 11.30am on 3rd November at the residence in Jalan Kemudi, Taman Bernam Jaya, Ulu Bernam. He has been charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, which carries the mandatory death sentence upon conviction.

According to The Sunday Daily, the case was prosecuted by Deputy Public Prosecutor Siti Khadijah Amir Hamdzah, while the accused was represented by lawyer Dr Vasu Appu. The court denied bail and set 22nd December for the case to be re-mentioned.
