We are merely three days away from the most awaited blockbuster of the year, 2.0. In an unprecedented move, Lyca Productions have released the video clip of the song Enthira Logathu Sundariye!
The Hindi version, Tu Hi Re, was released first, followed by the Tamil version of the song. Amy Jackson and Rajinikanth both appear to be robots in the song. We are reminded of the Enthiran tune, Irumbile Oru Idhayam, and frankly, we miss Aiswarya Rai. Nevertheless, Rajinikanth looks like a magnificent robotic don and his signature walk makes its appearance more than once in the song.
Rahman’s music is the perfect impression of the futuristic world. In fact, the song becomes more likable with the video. Sid Sriram and Sasha Tripathi have done justice to the composer’s music by lending their voices to Enthira Logathu Sundariye.
The filmmakers certainly seem to be working very hard to create the hype for 2.0. This tactic surely worked. The video has garnered more than 5 milllion views in the short span of a day.
2.0 releases on the 29th of December worldwide. A quick check on www.cinema.com.my shows that the movie is on track to be released then in Malaysia. Rajini fans, be on standby to buy your tickets!
