The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted students all over the world and their chance of getting a wholesome education. The shifting from a brick and mortar classroom to a virtual classroom has definitely been burdensome for students and teachers alike.

The global pandemic has also caused long delays for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2020 candidates. If there wasn’t the existence of this hazardous virus, SPM 2020 candidates would have long sat for the final paper in December.

V. Chenguttuvan, Selangor Education Department’s Tamil school coordinator will be the one distributing the books to the students. The books were handed over to Chenguttuvan by Vigneswari in the ceremony that was held last week. Many secondary school Tamil teachers were there representing each district in Selangor.

On 22nd November, the Education Ministry said the SPM 2021 examination dates will be revised once again after the previous examination date announcement received huge criticism from the public.

The previously announced date was from 3rd to 20th March 2022. Many parents were unhappy because the exam day falls on Friday and Sunday where Muslims perform prayers on Friday while the Christians attend church service and mass on Sunday.

Let’s all wait for the Education Ministry to make an announcement on the revised SPM 2022 exam date.

At the same time, let’s spread this news to all needy kids. We hope all our kids will pass their exams with flying colours!
