Since many individuals are eligible for booster shots, more vaccination centres are expected to be opened soon.

On 6th January, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said that 4 big Covid-19 vaccination centres (PPVs) in the Klang Valley will open on 15th January.

According to Khairy, booster injections will be offered in order to raise the take-up rate for the third dosage.

“The 4 integrated PPVs with a high scale capacity have been found to expand the capacity of giving booster injections in the Klang Valley, and will commence operations on January 15.”

The World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil, Ideal Convention Centre Shah Alam (IDCC), and the Soka Gakkai Klang are among the PPVs due to reopen.

“All booster appointments will be sent via the MySejahtera application or short messaging service (SMS),” Khairy stated.

Individuals who need booster injections right away but haven’t received an appointment through MySejahtera can call the general practitioners (GPs) PPVs listed on the ProtectHealth website to get on the waiting list.
