The much-anticipated inaugural Ulagam Awards was held on 13th January at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) in an extravagant yet adhering COVID-19 SOPs (standard operating procedures) in a secure way. The award ceremony was aired live on Astro Vinmeen HD (CH202). Being the first live event post-pandemic, it was definitely a good kick start to 2022.
All of our local celebrities and guests displayed their best on the Ulagam Awards red carpet yesterday in their stunning outfits.

Apart from these awards, Ulagam Award honoured two veteran local actors, late Mr. Thangamani Velayudan and late Mr. Gunaseharan Ramasamy (Gunseh), with ‘Lifetime Achievement Awards‘ for their accomplishments to the local entertainment industry.
