Nimalesh who fondly known as Avand will be showing his stunning artworks at Komtar JBCC, Johor Bahru, by State of The Art Gallery (SOTAG), in conjunction with Chinese New Year 2022 from the 2nd of February to the 2nd of March 2022.
SOTAG is open to all well-known as well as upcoming artists in any field, such as painters, graffiti artists, embroiderers, musicians, florists, and so on.
This self-taught artist who hails from Kuala Lumpur said the idea of creating these stunning artworks was inspired by the thought of merging the year of the Tiger with Mandarin oranges, a symbol of abundance and good fortune, and generally depicts the prosperous Chinese New Year celebrations.
This nanotech engineering graduan created these beautiful artworks by using digital illustration artwork with an abstract background, which was printed on high quality glossy paper and framed.
Avand who currently ventures into NFT World produced this Tiger-themed artworks in the hopes of preserving the endangered Malayan tigers, which are on the verge of extinction.
This young lad’s unwavering passion for art, which he has had since he was a child, has been proven by his participation in numerous competitions and exhibitions across the country, as well as in foreign nations such as Australia, Japan, and India.
