Sreebathy Gobi who hails from Kajang previously made history for becoming the first Malaysian Indian representative to earn the 6th spot in the renowned pageant show, Mister Globe 2021.
Not only that, the Bachelor of Malaysia Organization has awarded Sree with the National title of Mister Global Malaysia 2021.
Recently, Sreebathy decided to level up his game in the pageant world by entering the 7th Mister Global show as the one and only sole representative of Malaysia making him the First Malaysian Indian to step into this competition.
The 24-year old lad will be competing for this prestigious title that will be hosted in Thailand from 7th to 17th March 2022.
The Mister Global Organization has confirmed that the international final of the Mister Global Pageant would be held in Mahasarakham, Thailand with more than 30 Inspiring Gentlemen from across the world that are set to compete for the coveted title at the pageant, which is honouring its 7th year.
Bachelor of Malaysia Organization selected Sree to represent our country based on his unwavering commitment, discipline and hard work that he has displayed and proven.
Speaking to Varnam, Sree humbly said: “The level of the competition is high compared to my previous title and I’ll make sure that the decision made by the National Director Geo Allen George is worth it because he always trusted me more than anyone since Day 1,”.
Sree, who is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), says he had no prior knowledge of the pageantry world when he competed in his first pageant, and that he will now use all of the knowledge and skills he has gained to secure a good placement at this year’s competition.
This young lad hopes fellow Malaysians would support him throughout this prestigious competition.
“Imagine if I win, it would be an inspiring story for each and every youngster who is working hard to achieve something in their life and give a reason to this world to remember their name,” he said.
The participants will be evaluated in three aspects during the competition rounds: swimwear, evening wear, and interview, as they compete for the title of 7th Mister Global.
