As an adult, you realise that sustaining friendships takes effort and time, but you also understand how crucial it is to stay in contact with the important people in your life. After all, close friends do lower stress, keep you sharp, and help you live longer.

But what if we lose a friend who promises to stay together through thick and thin?

Painful right? Well, that’s what The Meet emphasises over the meaning of true friendships.

Helmed by Rishi Ghanesh Chapter 1 : The Tale Of Two Friends short film is a heartwarming buddy comedy that handles some pretty deep themes. The storyline is quite common, but it is still a great flick thanks to the casts who have delivered a solid performance.

This short film elegantly depicts the beauty and frustration of losing a close friend, and how the loss has changed the respective person’s life. Featuring Dhinesh Sivasangar, Poowarasan, Logasree Muniyandhy, and Pravina Selvaraju in pivotal roles, the flick is appreciated for the weight and depth it gives not only to friendships, but to the complex interiority and strength of a young adult.
