Some good news, FINALLY!

Thanks to the brilliant minds who came up with such drastic initiatives, even though it’s quite late to implement the booster appointment via MySejahtera as cases have continued to sore all across the country.

Those who have yet to receive their COVID-19 booster shots, this is specially for you where all the appointments can now be made via the MySejahtera app from TODAY. The public may use the app to select their preferred vaccination centres (PPV), as well as the date and time of their booster dose vaccination.

Wondering how the latest version for booster booking via MySejahtera App works?

Fret not, as the writer has listed down some simple steps to make your booking process as smooth as possible.

With that said, scroll down to follow the guidelines to pick a date, time and venue for your booster dose appointments.

  • Go to the MySejahtera app home screen and tap on COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Select the link ‘Click here to book your appointment’.
  • Find your nearest PPV centre and address.
  • Select the available vaccination slot (date and time). Click ‘See more’ for the appointment slots.
  • Before clicking ‘Confirm’, ensure that the details are correct (i.e. type of vaccine, place of vaccination, date and time of vaccination).
  • A confirmed vaccination slot will be reflected accordingly.
  • Obtain your booster dose at the selected PPV on the location and appointment slot selected.

ProtectHealth Corp Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Dr Anas Alam Faizli stated that this idea came about to ensure that the transition to the endemic phase on April 1st can be implemented safely, the focus is to foster community awareness and individual responsibility.

“Unvaccinated or ‘unboosted’ elderly folks with comorbidities have a higher risk of dying if they contract Covid-19. Hence, this will expand access to existing vaccination programmes, especially for senior citizens.”

You may also choose your nearest PPV centre for the booster vaccination on the ProtectHealth website ‘Find Vaccination Centre (PPV)’ as a reference list. Worry not, as the list of PPVs will be updated on a regular basis.
