This is a proud moment for Malaysia where our medical professionals have made huge discoveries in the constantly evolving medical field.
One such is Senior Professor Dr K.R. Sethuraman, who was recently conferred with a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ by MEU India.
Prof Dr Sethuraman rejoined as Dean for the Faculty of Medicine at AIMST University in 2018. Besides serving as a well-known professor, he has also held the position of Director Professor of Medicine at JIPMER, India, Vice Chancellor at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University and also as the Dean of Medicine and Deputy VC (Academic and International affairs) at AIMST from year 2006 till 2013.
His efforts, knowledge, and wisdom towards the field of medicine can be lessons for the next generation or upcoming young doctors as they become shining beacons of light.
Established in 2017, MEU India is all about sharing information on medical conferences and activities in medical science, in hopes of creating a network of medical educators, which went from 150 members in the beginning to 20,000 health professionals over the years. This led to the development of a national mastermind team, which is currently working to improve our medical education system by allowing for the constant distribution of information and a bottom-up spiraling of ideas to the top.
