Do you need a weekend break because you’re stressed out? Nothing beats a quick and easy yoga session to get your body rejuvenated.

We’ve compiled a list of our top 5 short yoga workouts so you can have a refreshing yoga weekend anytime you want! It’s ideal for people who wish to feel revitalised and refreshed.

In no time, these poses will open up your entire body, enhance blood flow, and make you better.

1. Child’s Pose

This gentle yoga stance opens the shoulders and can be used to recover in between more challenging poses. Return to it at any moment, but don’t leave it alone. For the greatest benefit, you want to feel as if you’re stretching out to the opposite end of the room.

2. Pigeon Pose

Pigeon Pose is a great way to improve hip flexibility. If you find yourself sitting for long periods of time, this stretch is especially beneficial. It might feel pretty intense depending on how tight you are. Slowly go around the area to get a feel for it.

3. Cat/Cow Pose

Warming up the spine with cat/cows can be a lot of fun. These are ideal for stress relief and preparing for more challenging back bends.

4. Half Lord of the Fishes

You’ll feel taller and more energised in this regal-sounding posture. It helps to correct the spine, extend the shoulders, hips, and neck, and stimulate the digestive system.

5. Tree Pose

The pelvis, thighs, torso, and shoulders are all stretched in this position. You’re also testing your ability to balance because you’re standing on one leg. This pose might help you refocus and centre yourself if you’re feeling particularly “unbalanced” in your life.

Wait no more, take your yoga mat and get fresh with these yoga poses.
