Here we go again.
It’s no more a surprise that in recent years, Selangor has had the most severe water supply problems in Malaysia.
Air Selangor has announced that repair work on a leaking valve at Warta Lama, Jalan Kuching, will begin at 11am on 30th March which will cause unscheduled water supply disruption in 144 locations in Gombak and Kuala Lumpur regions.
The valve repair work is expected to be completed by 9pm.
“Water supply will start to be channelled in stages to consumers’ premises after the repair work is completed. The water supply is expected to be fully restored by 9am on March 31,” read the statement.
Air Selangor has advised consumers to store adequate water supply before the repair work is carried out.
“Alternative assistance through tanker lorries will also be mobilised to the affected areas, giving priority to critical premises,” it said.
