Paris Paris, the much awaited Tamil remake of Queen is going to be released soon, and the teaser is finally here! Directed by Ramesh Aravind, Paris Paris stars Kajal Aggarwal reprising Kangana’s role as the lead actress. She is joined by Elli AvrRam and Varun Shashi Rao among others.
The film is being made in Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada simultaneously. Manjima Mohan is the lead actress for the Malayalam version, Tammanah for the Telugu remake and Parul Yadav in the Kannada edition. In spite of the same story, all four teasers are different.
The Tamil teaser betrays a scene not usually seen in the utterly conservative Tamil film industry, it will be interesting to see how this fares with the Tamil audience.
Just like Queen, Paris Paris revolves around a young bride-to-be, who is ditched by her groom before her wedding. She decides to go on her honeymoon alone which turns out to be an incredible journey of self discovery.
Manu Kumaran, the producer of all four flicks shared in an interview, “I hope the audience love these teasers because making these four movies altogether has been the most scary, stressful, nerve wracking and yet supremely joyful experience of our lives. I have a clear understanding of what happens to parents of quadruplets.”
The four films will release in February 2019.
