The Vice President of Corporate Communications at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Suganya Sudanantha has been awarded a scholarship to pursue the prestigious Wolfson Press Fellowship 2022, recently. Awarded by Khazanah Nasional Berhad, this annual fellowship was halted for the last two years due to Covid-19.

Suganya who is currently serving as the team member of Concerned UM Indian Graduates’ Employability Working Group will undergo a ten-week fellowship programme at  Wolfson College, University of Cambridge from April 16 to June 26.

The other recipients are journalists Jade Chan of Star Media Group ASIA and Nur Ashikin Abdul Aziz of BERNAMA and  Khairunnisak Dzun Nurin, Head of Group Communications, Malaysia Airlines.

Besides that, talking about the Wolfson Press Fellowship programme, it provides a great opportunity for Malaysian media practitioners to grow significantly stronger, and also become well-rounded journalists. As a result, it will contribute more significantly to our nation-building.

Khazanah has since been a partner with Wolfson College, University of Cambridge, since 2013, and each year they sponsor two Malaysian journalists and employees of a Khazanah-linked company for the programme. This fellowship has benefited 20 Khazanah-sponsored participants to date.
