For those who simply want to satisfy their cravings for extreme adventure or are dying to brace their fears and try something new, you have come to the right place. Here are a wide range of outdoor activities for you to look forward to in Malaysia. There are numerous things to explore and enjoy with your family and friends between the depths of the sea and the heights of the clouds.

Flyboarding

Flyboarding is one of Malaysia’s more unconventional adventure activities. Flyboarding is a water activity when people stand in the water on a board with a high pressured jetpack strapped to their back. Streams of water rain down on the rider, propelling them into the air. Basically, flyboarding involves two people, one will be riding the jet ski and another will be on the board. It might be scary as it sounds but this relatively unique activity would be worth trying at least once in your lifetime.

Hot Air Ballooning

Hot air ballooning is a fun air riding activity in which a wicker basket is attached to a huge balloon, containing a fire burner in which flame is mainly used to control the up and down movement of the balloon. The flame of the burner is raised if it wants to fly high, the flame will be reduced to land upon landing. However, the movement of the balloon is also supported by the weather conditions. Pretty cool right! In Malaysia, there are a few locations where you can have amazing experiences by getting up in the air before sunrise for a very magnificent and dramatic view.

Microlight

A microlight is a small plane that may carry one or two passengers and is powered by a small engine. Microlighting evolved from hang gliding as it is added to an engine. A microlight is a powerful aircraft that can go at speeds of up to 110 kilometers per hour. In Malaysia, ensure that you will have an unforgettable experience to soar through the skies like a bird and take in a panoramic view. Availability is dependent on the weather conditions, so check the clouds before embarking on this flying adventure, When you are up in the air, don’t forget to capture and save the amazing moment.

Bungee Jumping

If you are intimidated by heights, then this is for you, Bungee jumping is an action packed leisure sport that includes individuals jumping head-first from a towering structure while wearing an elastic cord around their feet. Tall structures of this type of jumps require one to jump from buildings, cranes, bridges, or even a helicopter. One of the most exhilarating activities in Malaysia is bungee jumping. You are only a few steps away from experiencing a strong adrenaline surge in a few well known locations in Malaysia. You can leap from a height like above sea level, which provides an exciting experience. First timers, if you think you want to overcome your fear of heights yeah you heard me, then this is the right activity for you.

White Water Rafting

White water rafting is a water activity in which between 4 to 8 people will be carried down a river’s white water rapids in an inflatable raft. River rafting on the white water is an adventure activity with varied levels of difficulty as beginners are usually accompanied by experienced rafting guides, Usually, white water rafting will take one to three days to finish. It is definitely worth it for you to get an unforgettable experience, as you will be treated to beautiful views.

Paragliding

Paragliding is an air activity where individuals take off from the ground at a higher place, equipped with a seated harness, as they use their body and control provided to maintain the speed and land by their own. Well, you can enjoy the excitement of paragliding while taking in the breathtaking views from the skies. Although a paraglider does not have an engine, it may nonetheless fly for hours and cover hundreds of kilometers. In Malaysia, there are numerous excellent spots for paragliding where you can spend one to two hours in the air.

Scuba Diving

Scuba diving is an underwater activity in which you can explore the sea below and you will be given appropriate equipment to maintain your breathing system. On your scuba diving experiences in Malaysia, you will find tropical beaches, infinite reefs, crystal blue waters, friendly turtles, and even some shipwrecks. Mostly scuba diving are organised at tourist spots such as beaches and islands, For your information, in most regions, you can do scuba diving all year, although the greatest time to go underwater sightseeing is from April to December. There are plenty of locations in Malaysia for you to go and experience the abundant marine life.

Skydiving

Skydiving is an activity which allows you to float in the air with the help of a professional diver and you will be attached with a parachute and jump from an airplane or higher place and before landing. Skydiving is one of Malaysia’s most popular outdoor activity. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skydiver, soaring into the Malaysian skies will be an unforgettable experience. If you are really interested in skydiving, then there are a few best locations around Peninsular Malaysia where you can go and experience skydiving. You don’t have too worry as professional skydivers will offer you all the necessary equipment as well as a visual aid to commemorate your exhilarating dive. Keep in the mind that skydiving is a seasonal activity that is strongly reliant on weather.
