It’s the wedding of an endearing couple that we have been waiting for years. Lady superstar Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan have FINALLY tied the knot at Sheraton Grand Mahabalipuram on 9th June.
As is no surprise for our Kollywood lovebirds, this was an Unplugged Wedding Ceremony which means “no phone” during all of the ceremonies including their ‘Mahendi’ as well. They do enjoy their privacy, don’t they?

In the presence of family, close friends and celebrities, their close-knit wedding ceremony was performed as per Hindu rituals. All eyes are glued on different social media platforms for just a glimpse of the astonishing duo, as it’s the moment that we have all been waiting for and the writer feels it has been beautifully captured by the photography team.

Sparks flew between the two in 2015, following the huge success of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and surprisingly their adorable love story brewed during the shoot of the film. With speculations of their relationship set the tinsel town on fire, the duo kept it private till 2017. The sensational Kollywood couple decided to clear the air by confirming their relationship status at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) which took place at Singapore in 2017.
Since the official announcement, Wikki often shares photos of him and Nayanthara on his Instagram handle. After being in a relationship for more than 7 years, Wikki had shared a picture of Nayan flaunting a ring which had been speculating if that was her engagement ring.
