Ajith was very energetic throughout the filming of Viswasam, I have never seen him have that much fun filming,” shares director Siva in an interview. “It was almost as if we were in a ‘thiruvizha’!”
Siva says that Ajith is extremely satisfied with the outcome of Viswasam. “After seeing the film, Ajith sir said that this was the best movie out of the four films we have worked together on,” shares Siva.
Siva has joined forces with Ajith for the fourth time for Viswasam. The film will also star Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Jagapathi Babu, Sakshi Agarwal, Vivek, Chandra Sekhar, Kovai Sarala and Robo Shankar. The D Imman musical is produced by Sathya Jothi Films.
When asked about his infamous mass scenes, Siva says, “The term mass has a been given a really negative connotation. The naysayers fail to realize that mass is something that breaks the barriers of age, class and gender,” The director goes on to say that the mass scenes are what elevates the audience’s theatrical experience and allows the audience to connect with the film.
Siva isn’t nervous about releasing his film on the same day as Rajinikanth’s Petta. In fact, the director has enjoyed his journey with Ajith that he is confident about his work. Remarking the coinciding release dates, he says “Healthy competition is what it is. We stuck to our plan of releasing the film on January 10th, as per our producer’s request,”
Viswasam releases tomorrow, January 10th in cinemas nationwide.
