Mugen Rao, the singer-actor and the title winner of the popular reality show Bigg Boss Tamil has been appointed as the new Patron & Director and along with the multi-talented gem, Geritharan Subramaniam as the Managing Director of IBP Studios Sdn Bhd.
The announcement on the new appointment was officially made by Dr. Edwin during IBP’s Press Conference which took place on Wednesday (15th June).
Dr. Edwin, a prominent figure in the music industry and also the Founder of Malaysia’s leading Tamil record label, IBP Studios Sdn.Bhd has revamped the organisation structure by passing the baton to both champs.

In the year 2019, almost everyone’s phone screen and social media platforms were flashed with the face of our homeboy after he emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Season 3 in Tamil Nadu. Perhaps he has earned a name for himself for his exquisite masterpiece “Sathiyama” sung in the house and his humble demure.
As he evolved into the cine world upon Bigg Boss, movie offers to star alongside prominent actors and actresses came to his doorstep by renowned industry directors. The offers that were made available to him bountifully were taken up by Mugen.

Established in 2009, IBP Studios was spearheaded by Coruz Hooks, a passionate vocalist, songwriter, engineer, and producer, who caters to Malaysia’s native talent. IBP have been operating for the past 13 years and currently managing 9 Malaysian talents which are signed under several divisions within the record label as singer-songwriters, composers and actors. Till date, IBP has produced, published and digitally distributed more than 250 song titles.
