Part 2 : Famous BLR Outlets In Klang Valley

Banana Leaf Fans!! Another list for you...

Hola..! Klang Valley folks. We have come back with another list of Famous Banana Leaf Restaurants in Klang Valley. With back-to-back holidays, the writer is pretty sure you guys want to know what the famous finger-licking food is located around the Klang Valley area. If you miss the previous article or never got the time to try it out, check out the Part 1, HERE!

With that being said, we have curated yet another quintessential list of the second part of Famous BLR in Klang Valley that you should not miss giving a try.

1.Bigg Papadam Banana Leaf, Puchong

Bigg Papadam Banana Leaf is a restaurant offers a delicious banana leaf rice menu in Puchong area. The restaurant serves a variety of curry dishes and vegetables and for sure big papadams as the complete of a banana leaf full meal.

Opening hours : Everyday ( 8am – 8pm)

2.Puchong Chettinad Mess, Puchong

“Chakra Catering Services” which also known as Puchong Chettinad Mess, tucked away on the first floor next to a row of retail lots in Bandar Puteri Puchong. Their ‘Mutton Varuval’ from Puchong Mess is arguably one of the best dish that leave you with full satisfaction. With parboiled rice, this spicy, aromatic sauce is excellent. If you’re a varuval lover, don’t forget to try out this dish.

3. Moorthy’s Mathai Indian Rice, Brickfields

This self-service banana leaf rice restaurant can be found at Brickfields’ Money’s Corner food court. You can pick from a wide variety of items to accompany your rice. Also, keep in mind that the area is congested during lunchtime and plan your visit accordingly!

4.Sri Ganapathy Mess, PJ

Sri Ganapathy Mess is well famous for its ‘crab rasam‘ among the customers. There’s nothing quite like it – parboiled rice on fresh sheets of banana leaf, accompanied by vegetarian side dishes and drenched in assorted curries. It is spicy, packed with flavour with a heady scent of spices.

Opening hours : Opens daily except Weekends (11am-4pm)

5. Appu Uncle Curry House, Petaling Jaya

Are you a fish curry lover?

If yes, don’t miss to try Appu Curry House ‘Fierce-Like-Wife Fish Head Curry’. They have earned themselves a name, go-to banana leaf rice spot in Damansara Jaya. Well, the writer ain’t surprised with the term as it was too good to even describe the taste.

Hours               : Daily (7AM – 4PM) , (6PM – 9PM)
