Popular comedian Kelly Kanaga, a Tamil descendent from Singapore, was honored at Zak Salaam India in recognition of her social media-related contributions to society.
The event took place at Singapore Expo, which is often used for exhibitions, but this year it was a little different as they arranged a portion where prizes were given out to honor local talents.
Kelly is one of the recipients of the awards this year for her best entertaining videos, which focuses on Indian families, particularly the relationship between a mother and a daughter.
This recognition is fully worthy to this lady as she is super talented on creating funny contents. Kelly delivers an impeccable impersonation of the normal Indian mom-speak, so it’s not surprising that she has a large fan base on her socials.
Two personas that Kelly frequently portrays on her page are “KK” and “Amma”; Kelly plays both roles. With her hilarious videos depicting mom vs. daughter arguments, this Singaporean Tamil woman can make you laugh out loud for sure.
