Keeping strong intentions to help those in need is something that should come purely from your heart and we are glad there are some gems who are still holding on to the principle.

With that being said, Khuswindera Singh Tara Singh has represented our beautiful country Malaysia as a delegate for the Global Youth Leadership Summit (GYLS) 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand recently.

Adding on with another great piece of news, the young activist has also received a prestigious award bearing the title of “The Emerging Leader Award 2022”. Spearheaded by the Global Youth Parliament, the much anticipated event took place in Bangkok, Thailand from 23rd to 26th June 2022.

To date, Khuswindera who is also fondly known as an active volunteer and youth trainer at the Perak Youth Assemblyman Menglembu constituency has been actively delivering food aid and other necessary duties for those in need.

A special shout out to his pillar:

It would be impossible for me without the help and support from my brother Arvend Applasamy, Malaysia Country Coordinator (ASEAN). I would like to convey my heartiest appreciation to you, brother! – Khuswindera

The special award is in honour of those who contribute, acknowledge and celebrate their exceptional contributions in the field of youth leadership, peace, non-violence, innovation, social justice, empowerment, human rights, entrepreneurship, tourism, SDGs and democracy.

The Global Youth Leadership Summit 2022 is a forum for young leaders from across the world to exchange ideas and efforts for advocacy tools to accomplish sustainable development objectives from the perspective of youth and to urge the youth to campaign for these goals in their own governments.

Good job Khuswindera..you have beyond a doubt made great and huge contributions to society. Keep up the good work!
