JFW, an online portal that focuses on the women of South Indian cinema, have released a stunning 2019 calendar. The much awaited JFW 2019 calendar features six actresses from the industry in different avatars.

Shot by photographer Sunder Ramu, the sets of the calendar were the brainchild of art director Rajeevan. The stylists behind the actresses’ looks are Chaitanya Rao and Shilpa Vummiti.

The Warrior Princess Who Dances

Aishwarya Rajesh sizzles as an Indian warrior princess, putting Avantika of Bahubali a run for her money.

Aiswarya is then seen in a frilly coral ombré skirt doing a twirl, as a dancer.

Lady Boss By Day, Catwoman By Night

Raiza Wilson is Catwoman redefined in her leather pants and faux cat ears, ready to pounce off a building.

But Raiza is also a businesswoman who is calm and collected when the world appears to be in a state of topsy turvy.

Katniss, Are You A Wanderlust?

Regina Cassandra is a force to be reckoned with as Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games.

Regina is then a wanderlust taking a break from her bike ride.

The Musings of a Queen

Shriya Saran is regal, and exudes power, in this Game of Thrones themed image.

Shriya is also depicted in a fantasy world, touching a hot air balloon, amidst flying pigs.

The Black Widow Who Loves Squash

Move over, Scarlett Johannson. Taapsee Pannu rocks this avatar as the Black Widow.

Taapsee also loves to play squash, nothing screams squash player more than this image here.

Wonder Woman Turns Mermaid

Andrea Jeremiah leaves us flabbergasted when we see her as an ethereal mermaid.

And then we see Andrea as Wonder Woman, and well, we know who DC Entertainment should consider for the next installment of the film.

It is a breath of fresh air to see South Indian actresses as avatars of popular western themes. Get your hands on a physical copy of this calendar here.
