The actress garnered recognition by playing nine different exceptional roles in the local thriller series Iraivi Thirumagal Kaadu, helmed by filmmaker SD Puvendran, which aired in March on Astro.

The prestigious award ceremony hosted by the Malaysia Book of Records left the passionate actress awestruck.

She expressed sincere gratitude on stage and on social media, for the guidance offered by the series’ team, as well as the love and support shown by the public during her acting career.

“I found it challenging to take on nine roles in this series because each character had to stand out. To that end, I made every effort and did my best. I hope I did my work justice by earning this recognition”, the devoted starlet said.

“Iraivi Thirumagal Kaadu is a blessing for me. I entered the world of cinema without any experience or guidance and simply had faith in myself. I gained knowledge from directors who offered me chances and guidance. Regardless of the ridicule, I lived my life by disregarding negativity”, she added.

Along other artists from Malaysia’s film industry, Denes Kumar and Surrya Prakash conveyed their appreciation on her achievement;

By God’s grace, I was given this recognition today. I dedicate this honour to my mother, who is guiding me from above, as well as to all other women like me who are making progress in the film industry with dignity – Moon Nila

Congratulations on your achievement, Moon Nila. More to come!
