As recognition for all his charitable work, Muthu, a Malaysian, marked his name in the Cholan Book of World Records.
The social worker was given the Cholan Seva Semmal – Cholan Social Service Award at the ceremony, which took place on July 29 at the PJ Civic Center. The ceremony saw many attendees including Indian musicians, orchestral bands, and audiophiles.
The prestigious Cholan Social Service honour was given to him in appreciation of him conducting musical events to raise money for the welfare of Malaysian students, providing an opportunity for these students to further their studies.
Muthu has put up his best efforts in supporting their education as well as hosting musical events and generating money via various platforms to donate to deserving students whist helping them secure a bright future for themselves.
In an Instagram post, Cholan Book of World Records extended their sincere gratitude to the organisation’s management for planning the brief award ceremony and presenting the appropriate parties with the certificate.
The event’s standout feature was the participation of well-known music composer and singer Gangai Amaran.
