Malaysian newspaper Tamil Nesan, which published its first issue on September 24th, 1924 will be ceasing its operations on February 1st 2019 – completing a remarkable 94 year journey through some of our countries most historical moments.
According to sources, quoted by Bernama, the newspaper has been facing financial problems for the past 10 years, and all 45 workers have been issued termination letters.
Managing Director of Tamil Nesan, Datuk Seri S. Vell Paari confirmed to Bernama News Channel on the closure.
