Can you drive a motorised vehicle for 24 hours? Undoubtedly impossible. But one man has wow(ed) us all by turning the impossible into possible.
Praveenth Chelvam, a go-cart racer sealed a spot in the Malaysian Book of Records for the furthest distance covered by a go-kart in 24 hours.
This was a dream come true moment for the tenacious go-karter who raced against the clock to smash the record.
He was given a record-breaking certificate on May 24 for becoming the first person to drive a go-kart the most distance in a single day, covering 1110.35 km.
His Instagram post states that the adrenaline pumping go-kart race took place in Langkawi’s Morac Adventure Park from May 23 to May 24.
Being in the presence of Malaysian Book of Records authorities, Praveenth succeeded to exceed more than 800 lapses (minimum) with his team and spectators cheering him on.
Praveenth expressed his deepest thanks to all significant contributors in his motorsport adventure for giving him this opportunity and being a part of his record-breaking triumph.
