Recently, with only one cover of an Indian song, a Tiktoker rose to fame overnight. Aimin DVL (Tiktok@aimin_dvl) caught the eyes of many for his song cover of Aamir Khan’s Tinak Tin Tana but with a different tweak, which is a Beatbox version.
Chaperoning a brilliant beatboxer, Vighna Muthusamy and Aimin on the vocals, this duo demonstrated a 43-sec captivating performance. Upon its release, this video received tremendous love and support from every Malaysian.
In just 4 days, the video has garnered over 2.4 million views on Tiktok with 195k likes.

Hailing from Melaka, Aimin posted a part 2 video with Vighna of ‘Bukan Aku Tak Cinta’ cover. This video also garnered enormous cheering from netizens with over 467.8k views.
After the Tinak Tin Tana’s release, a new Tamil cover song that he posted 2 days ago also blasted everyone’s FYP and now it has over 273.3k views and tonnes of love in the comment section. Aimin and Vighna delivered Thalapathy’s Vaanganna Vanakkanganna song.

Although the pronunciation is a little imprecise, this young man deserves a lot of praise for making an effort to do a rendition of a song that is new to him.
Prior to this, the 25-year-old singer went viral with his mother for their evergreen song covers on Tiktok. Talking to Mstar, his singing venture began in 2019 as a part-time singer. During that period, he also provided DJ services at weddings.
His talent viralled after his mother joined him singing at his neighbour’s wedding. Since then, he has often received requests from fans for more videos of him and his mother singing.
