Most of the popular attractions like Aquaria, Zoo Negara and others must have been visited by your family and you countless of times. Now is the time to focus on other worthwhile spots you should visit that is loaded with new forms of entertainment and knowledge.

Here are some of the destinations that we have personally handpicked for you to excitedly turn yourself in;

The Acre by Farm Fresh @ UPM

A cool, brand-new farm experience is available just 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur for urbanites who want to spend the day in the peaceful countryside. The Acre by Farm Fresh gives off a genuine farm atmosphere as you enter a gorgeous location with white picket fences encircling a red farmhouse amid tropical gardens. Various activities, such as riding tractors and barrels, visiting a mini petting area, following the nursery, and then turning to indulge in a farm-to-table fare will take you on a thorough informative agricultural tour.

Opening Hours: Weekdays (10am – 7pm) – Closed on Monday; Weekends (10am – 10pm)

G2G Animal Garden

G2G Animal Garden, a family-friendly petting zoo, is the perfect place for families, animal enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of animal therapy. Get up close and personal with more than 70 different species of animals, both local and exotic. From the cat house to the pony station, the kids will love it. Petting them while making eye contact with these furry friends provides you a great bond that is guaranteed to be one of your most memorable moments.

Bentong Happy Farm

One day is never long enough to fully appreciate a place like Bentong Happy Farm. Spend a few days in the chalets of the hilly Bentong district, which are surrounded by gardens and forests infusing your body and mind with fresh air. Unrestricted access to a variety of activities, including organic farming, animal encounters, and petting roaming rabbits. Beyond the farm, there are hiking trails along the way and a night jungle walk along the river for swimming, complete with a lovely location for pictures.

Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands

Visit Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands to learn about and engage in a variety of family-friendly activities while experiencing the biodiversity that can be found in our local wetlands. As you discover all there is to know about the ecology, decide whether to go on a boat tour, observe birds, or go fishing. Don’t miss out seasonal hot air ballooning, jungle hiking, or horseback riding if you want an adrenaline rush. The wetlands also host special children’s programs that will tap their super senses.

Kebun-Kebun Bangsar

A free family-friendly spot, you guys! Discover this hidden gem at Kebun-Kebun Bangsar, which features adorable farm animals, including ducks, geese, and rabbits (don’t miss to pet their sheep and cow). While you relax by the cute rabbit area and duck pond, you can happily offer them treats. Vegetables and fruits that are sprouting in the lovely rural area are also given to soup kitchens and the less fortunate.
