Malaysians will be able to put on their dancing shoes and rock the night away with multiple award winning singer, Sid Sriram at the Heart & Soul 2.0 Live In KL 2022 this weekend. To date, he has received numerous international recognitions and awards for his work including awards from the 63rd Filmfare Awards South, Zee Cine Awards Tamil and 7th South Indian International Movie Awards.

The much-awaited concert is all set to take place on the 20th and 21st August 2022 at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. Spearheaded by Woodmark Events, this will be the third Sid Sriram concert in Malaysia organised by the team.

Originally planned as a one day show, Sid Sriram and Woodmark Events were quick to announce a Day 2 show after an overwhelming show of support from Malaysia fans. All tickets for both Day 1 and Day 2 were sold out within 90 minutes of ticket sales launch. Woodmark Events and Ticket2u, the official ticketing platform for Sid Sriram Live in KL 2022 ensured a seamless ticket purchasing experience for all ticket buyers.

In a media meet and greet session which was held at a hotel in Petaling Jaya today, Sid stated that Malaysian fans can anticipate more than 35 songs which surely will give his fans a memorable concert experience.

‘I’ve always had the feeling that Malaysia is my second home. The last time I was in Malaysia was in 2020 and it feels great to be back in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian fans have always greeted me with so much of love.” – Sid Sriram

The Malaysian Tourism industry is also gradually recovering with back to back concerts in Malaysia, a clear indication of things returning to normalcy.

“Entertainment, especially concerts are among the elements to promote Malaysia’s tourism after a two year of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic” quoted Tuan Syed Yahya Syed Othman, Senior Director of Strategic Planing Division, Tourism Malaysia.

“We first started doing shows in 2016, now we are in 2022. The pandemic allowed me to reflect and ponder on how I can enhance the live concert and what I can do to make the experience even more memorable one for my fans,” said the 32-year-old singer.

Malaysians in general, and concert goers in particular can now do their own Covid-19 self tests without the need of updating their MySejahtera, as long as they are tested negative. Woodmark Events have also come up with a comprehensive list of do’s and don’ts for the concert on their social media pages to ensure a proper and seamless concert-going experience for everyone.

Kanika Gold who is the main sponsor for Sid’s concert also quoted that they are delighted to join hands together with Woodmark Events in one of the biggest acts to grace our shores this year.

Known as one of the most popular contemporary singer-musician, Sid has also mentioned that he has been working hard with the organisers to deliver something that is exhilarating, full of energy, and full of heart for the show. Perhaps, it is also fitting that the show is called Heart and Soul 2.0. No gimmicks, just pure love and pure music, said Sid to members of the media who were present this morning at Sheraton Hotel, Petaling Jaya.

Concert attendees are also encouraged to share and tag their social media posts and stories using the following hashtags #heartandsoulwithsidsriramkl and #woodmarkevents. Live streaming is strictly prohibited to be fair to patrons who have purchased the tickets. Woodmark Events will have designated counters for goodie bags and wristband redemption for those who have purchased VVIP, MIP, Platinum & Gold concert tickets at the concert venue.

The organiser have also ensured concert goers that there will be no difference in the quality of show irrespective of which day fans have chosen to attend the show.

Sponsors from various industries have also come onboard to make this a memorable concert for all Sid Sriram fans.
