It’s overwhelming to see that younger generations are harnessing their creativity and turning their ambitions into a passion, as we discovered with a handful of young talents blazing their way in their 20s with their brand.
Vaishanavi Asokan, Subamalar Selvanathan, and Logajothy Navalingam, a promising young trio of entrepreneurs, are the core of Nalla Naal, a one-stop event centre.
Nalla Naal shared their business journey with Varnam Malaysia.
Vaishnavi and Subamalar, two childhood friends who are both passionate about the arts, pondered what to do after graduating. Upon generating ideas, these enterprising trios incepted Nalla Naal in January 2022.
We have been travelling together for the past 13 years, from primary school till university. As we shared the same interest in art, we wanted to venture into something new on our own, and that’s how Nalla Naal happened. – Nalla Naal
The once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that Nalla Naal decided to seize as a first step to launch a sound plan with their imaginative minds was a family event. With Logajothy’s addition to the team, the duos strengthened into trios.
They proved not two, but “three heads are better than one“.
“Coincidently, our sister’s engagement came up, and we saw that as an opportunity to initiate the decorations for the event. We pitched our idea to family members and they loved our concept and provided full support for our plan. Then our childhood friend Logajothy joined us to strengthen the team Nalla Naal”, the triad stated.
Being raised in a small town in Hutan Melintang, Perak, which is surrounded by plantations and rivers, made it easy for them to stay in touch with nature as that is where the idea for their eco-friendly services came about.
With abundance of natural resources around us, we were able to style the first engagement event successfully and it was loved by everyone. – Nalla Naal
The trios have been united under the eaves of Nalla Naal now after a decade of travelling together while sharing the same enthusiasm.
Nalla Naal, is a One Stop Creative Associate.
The all-round venture aims to offer clients with personalised services within their cost limit. Nalla Naal is more than just an event planner; it also provides art direction, interior design, wall art, photography, graphic design, and other services.
The path of an entrepreneur is never an easy road. Becoming a young entrepreneur comes with its stereotypes which was also a barrier to their success. However, upon endless effort, they had set the ideal for all youths that “age is just a number.”
With confidence in your own abilities, you can make anything possible – Nalla Naal.
The goal of making the world a better place for the community and future generations was there from the beginning of Nalla Naal’s journey.
Aakaar Foundation’s concern and effort to strive to promote sustainability paved the way for the team of three to join hands with them to achieve Naan Pradeep Kumar, a SUSTAINABLE musical experience.
The game plan of the musical event was to create 1000+ paper cranes as a decoration setup for the heart of the event.
“The mission of 1000+ paper cranes was an incredible journey. The paper cranes we made are different in size and we attached thousands of them with strings. There were 333+ strings, each consisting of 3 paper cranes. All the paper cranes were made in white as a symbol of purity”, the triads disclosed.
Being the trio’s first experience of a mega event and accomplishing a mind-boggling mission, they deserve an applause.
The team is striving over the long run to develop Nalla Naal into a wide-ranging creative platform that will offer opportunities to many young talents like them and foster a community that conserves and protects the environment.
Best wishes on your upcoming endeavors team!
