Pondy Bazaar – Deepavali Edition is coming back to the town yo!

Deepavali & Bazaars – These two words are commonly go together wherever it is. Spearheaded by the Asia Wedding Works team, the household name that needs no introduction is an established platform that values the upcoming or new vendors and communities whereby we believe in contributing to the local economy but supporting independently owned businesses to gain an authentic experience seeing through the local’s eye and taking you off the beaten path.

But, guess what has the organiser stored for us this time?

Asia Wedding Works will be organising a special DEEPAVALI EDITION of PONDY BAZAAR at Bukit Kota Kemuning Convention Centre (BKCC) from 29th September to 2nd October 2022 (11AM – 10PM).

There’s no doubt that Pondy Bazaar saw an influx for the previous event and now hundreds of local vendors are all set to throng the bazaar through various vendors for fall-themed goods. From initiating Pondy Bazaar 1.0 to 2.0, the event were indeed a great success.

With that being said, it came to our surprise when the organiser announced that 100% booths were sold out within a day period. Danggg, this is such a great piece of news!

Asking about the purpose of coming back with the concept of Deepavali Edition for this time bazaar, the core team said that:

Due to overwhelming response from the previous vendors and also attendees, we have decided to initiate this bazaar once again. We never thought that this bazaar would have a special place in all the vendors and also attendees’ hearts. Perhaps, we have received so many DM’s asking when the next bazaar will be taking place and etc.

Instead of heading to those big chains whether it’s a bakery, gift shop or restaurant, the best way of giving back to the local community is by eating and purchasing local products.

We can promise you that, you feel the warmth and passion as soon as you walk through the front door. Wouldn’t you rather walk into a local business where you’re treated with one-on-one care, than a boring old franchise that shows you little to no service at all?

Let’s support all our brains and creators behind the local business. By simply purchasing an item, your support fuels their dreams and could further inspire more entrepreneurs!
