MYDIN Celebrates Deepavali Together With “Keluarga Malaysia”

In the blink of an eye, we are less than a two weeks away from Deepavali, it also means that the Festival of Lights is just around the corner. 

Choosing “Sinaran Deepavali”, as the theme for this year, MYDIN ties collaboration with strategic partner Trichy to enliven the celebration with exciting activities and promotions throughout the campaign period. 

Among the anticipated activities are the Kolam decorations, Ladoo Giveaway, Traditional Indian food kiosks such as Pani Puri and other food varieties. Apart from that, MYDIN is also offering varieties of cooking essentials with special offer prices. 

On the special occasion of Deepavali, MYDIN and Trichy  simultaneously launch a cooking program, “15 Vegetarians Recipe” brought by famous local chef, Chef Dave from Vegan Journey Malaysia.  The event also sees Chef Dave collaborate with popular singer, Santesh to release a Deepavali song that will be played on the MYDIN.FM during the campaign period. 

According to MYDIN Managing Director, Datuk Wira (Dr.) Haji Ameer Ali Mydin, “Our country is the multicultural nation with a diversity of cultures, festivals and religious beliefs. MYDIN is also the one- stop shopping centre visited by all walks of life, be it the Malays, Chinese, Indians and other ethnics.  

Therefore, as the means to portray our appreciation to all our customers, every festive celebration is celebrated with festive decorations, promotions and activities. I believe the embodiment of the unity in diversity within all the races will drive a harmonious and positive move for nation building”. 

MYDIN, at the same time through MYDIN Prihatin initiatives extends the helping hands to four Indian charity homes with the donations of essential items and new clothes to make the Deepavali celebrations more meaningful.
