The success of alumni in all fields plays an important role in raising the name of the university, what more when the success is sketched continuously.

Dr Priscilla Das from the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences did her University proud as she shines at the SEGi International Conference of Business, Environment, Sustainability and Technology (SIBEST) 2022.

She won two prestigious awards namely Best Presenter and Best Paper Awards for her research paper along with Prof Dr Rebecca Wong and Assoc Prof Dr Saravanan Kumar which led to the topic, ‘Stress, Depression, Anxiety and Coping Styles Among Malaysian University Students During Pre & Post Covid-19 Outbreak’.

SEGI University & college has taken to their respective social media to share the good news:

Dr Priscilla took this opportunity to express her gratitude toward her university:

“I am so grateful to Almighty and SIBEST for the double awards. When it comes to events like SIBEST, I advise maintaining a good confidence level and clarity while presenting. Use of attractive graphics and appropriate wordings in your slides is a plus, but more importantly, make sure your paper has a depth of literature review packed with robust results and discussions. Lastly, be attentive to the questions asked by the panel and answer with confidence because it is our research work,” said Dr Priscilla.

SIBEST is a platform that provides for international and local academics, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and professionals to share their ideas and experiences in the business discipline of leadership and sustainability. Furthermore, IBEST 2022 hopes to provide opportunities for collaboration in the field of business and entrepreneurship towards restructuring to strategize on sustainability in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDGs).

Congratulations on winning those prestigious awards, Dr Priscilla Das!
