Jaydev Jayakumar; A director that needs no introduction, has once again wowed us by delivering a mock trailer aptly titled Detective Gandhi in the concept of a local detective story to showcase the visual quality and mood of the feature film. Story by Jaydev & Vishnu Attiappan, interestingly, the entire shot was taken by using FUJI XT4.
One word: Fantastic!
Released under the JDK Creations YouTube channel, the fast-paced thriller has Vishnu Attiappan (Kafe Visual ) for cinematography and colour grading alongside Soundstripe on the music front. Top-notch colour grading, brilliant framework, and storyline – hats off to the brainchild of this mock trailer!
The film features Surendar Rao Kanisan, Bharathan Telai Ambalam, Kavin Kumar Jayakumar, Sasikumar Ainar, Kayalvizhi Sasikumar, Aarthi Raman, Sashwin Kumar Sasikumar, Muganti Rajah Kumar, Uma Sri Durga, Vijayakumar Superkonar, Mahindran Munian and Ravanan in the pivotal roles.
Having said that, Jaydev has also proved that he’s among one of the ace filmmakers in Malaysia by directing a short film bearing the title William and received tremendous positive feedback from the netizens for delivering such a mind-bending Sci-Fi genre along with stunning visual effects (VFX) of the UFO arrival.
At this point, the writer feels absolutely ecstatic to watch the actual trailer along with the good news of releasing it as a feature film. Stay tuned for more updates from the director himself!
